Positions are available beginning in May or early June 2009 for 10-12 weeks.

The Travelers Information Technology Internship Program provides qualified students an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training and learn about the many technology professions available in the insurance industry.

Information Technology Internship Requirements:

You should have a passion for both technology and business and be pursuing an IT-related undergraduate or graduate degree with a preferred overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Suggested majors are:
-Computer Science
-Computer and Electrical Engineering
-Information Technology
-Mathematics with a minor in Information Technology
-Management Information Systems
-Telecommunications

Additional qualifications are:
-Demonstrated leadership experience
-Extra-curricular involvement
-Prior work/internship experience
-Motivation to succeed
-Strong communication and analytical skills
-You must be able to show eligibility to work for Travelers, in the U.S., on a full time basis, within 3 days of employment.
