OPPORTUNITY:   Do you want an opportunity to provide quality claim and operational support while developing and growing your insurance career with a possible transition to future claim handling?   If so, consider the Claim Operations Support Specialist position with Travelers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Critical, independent thinking.  Pull data, conduct research, identify trends and suggest improvements in business processes to enhance customer service via the phone queue report or similar reports and information.
- Process, monitor, track, and manage payments and checks.
- Process mail; handle filing, fax and photocopy.
- Review, prepare, create, and/or send letters, reports, and forms.
- Answer and initiate telephone calls, create appointments, and provide customer service as required.
- Organize activities/projects as assigned including the preparation, analysis and distribution of computer reports.
- Help to drive performance and improve business processes by introducing and suggesting solutions to problems.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma required and college degree preferred. Knowledge of claim support functions including data entry preferred.

JOB EXPERIENCE:   Experience in the customer service field, retail, or restaurant etc. required

- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office products
